From the moment a deck lands to the memo after the call, DealRiverscreens, researches, replies, and syncs every deal, so nothing sits unread and nothing gets typed in twice.
Each decision adds context about how your fund actually invests.
Improve thesis understanding, and actively screen for new deals.
Every deck is extracted, researched, and scored against your thesis before your team opens it.
Forward the deck. DealRiver handles extraction, research, thesis scoring, CRM entry, and the reply, with no forms or manual entry.
Triage, research, CRM entry, replies, and post-call notes run on their own, leaving analysts more time for the deals worth pursuing.
Every deal email in one place, labeled and organized, so anyone on the team can pick up the thread.
Deals, verdicts, replies, and memos are written to the right organization and mapped to your fields and stages.
Optimized to plug into your existing workflows. When a deal arrives, simply forward it to start the screening process.
Forward the email, or upload the document directly to the platform. That's all you need to do.
Extract and synthesize 40+ structured fields, then enriched with the healthcare context a generic summarizer never has: trials, predicate devices, reimbursement precedent, comparables.

Assessed against criteria you write in plain language. Clear fits and clear passes are handled consistently; anything uncertain is flagged for investment-team review.
A real reason on a pass, a booking link on a fit, drafted in your fund's voice from the actual deal data. You read it and click send.
Use the platform alongside your current workflows. If an integration doesn't exists, we'll build it. No manual entry, no lost context, no missed deals.
Every inbound company requires the same sequence of small tasks: open the materials, research the business, form a view, record the deal, and respond. None takes long by itself. At volume, the work compounds.

DealRiver is an AI deal-screening platform built for early-stage healthcare and medtech VCs. It takes an inbound pitch deck, extracts the key data, researches the clinical and regulatory context a generalist tool would miss, scores the opportunity against your investment thesis, and returns a structured company profile with a Pass, Watch, or Intro Call recommendation, typically in about five minutes per deck.
Deal data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each fund's data is logically isolated so it is never shared across customers or used to train shared models. Access is scoped to your team, and syncing happens over your existing authenticated connections to Affinity and Dropbox rather than by moving files somewhere new.
Beyond the deck itself, DealRiver pulls the context that matters for a healthcare or medtech decision: CPT codes and reimbursement pathways, predicate device history, active and completed clinical trials, and market sizing with competitive context.
Every deck is scored against your fund's investment thesis, and the recommendation reflects the reasoning behind it, not just a number. The criteria are configurable so recommendations line up with the calls your partners would make.
DealRiver syncs with Affinity and Dropbox. Every screened deck becomes a structured company profile written back to Affinity and stored in Dropbox automatically.
Onboarding starts by connecting your systems and encoding your investment thesis. Most teams are screening live deals within their first week.
DealRiver is a standing pipeline: it ingests inbound decks, extracts and researches them, scores them against your thesis, drafts the reply, and writes the result back to your systems.
The busywork. Your team keeps the judgment and approves every recommendation and reply.
Forward us a real pitch deck and watch the profile build itself.
